TEAM PENNING

To be run on the 3^rd Saturday every month

All teams receive two runs

• 1st run in the morning which we call a "Go Round"
•  2nd is a "Final" held in the afternoon.

The Final run in the afternoon is split into two sections, which are the results from the morning Go Round.

• Section A -  the teams having the top fastest times.
• Section B - the slower times.

 WGQHA membership is $30.00 Youth, $60.00 single, $90.00 family per year

• The responsibility is for each team to have entry monies organised. We suggest one person from each team collect the entry money from each team member. Upon payment of your team to the secretary will give you your teams numbers. Entries will only be accepted when paid as a team not individuals or runs to avoid confusion.
  
• Nominating entries for the show must be in on Wednesday prior to the show date. This allows the secretary time to obtain the cattle numbers required. Individuals who wish to participate but do not have a team to nominate are still able to ring the secretary and he/she will endeavour to place you in a team.
• Entry cost and payout: $165.00 per team. Each team member in effect will pay $55.00 for their Go Round and Final runs. The breakdown for the $55.00 is a run in the Go Round $25.00, and a run in the Finals Section $30.00 being two runs. Payout is a $5 Jackpot for the Go Round and a $10 Jackpot for each Section A and B. These will all be paid out on the following scale basis.
• 1 – 10 1^st only 100%
• 11 – 20 2 places 60% 40%
• 21 – 30 3 places 50% 30% 20%
• 31 + 4 places 40% 30% 20% 10%
• Therefore more teams, bigger the Jackpots.

• Maiden – Not to have won a Team Penning
• Improver's – May have won a Team Penning and may continue till season's end.
• Novice – Not to have won more than 3 Team Penning's but may continue till season's end
• Open – All comer's
